1. KITTE chooses 92.5 silver post/hook or post/hook plated with nickel-free material for earrings. 92.5 silver and Nickel-free are known as anti-allergenic materials.
Please make sure that Anti-allergenic materials could cause the allergic reaction depending on daily health condition of individuals though.
In addtion, silver is soft enough to be bent easily while delivering or in use.
It's not the matter of defect of goods so just make it unfolded back with your finger or tweezers.

2. KITTE mostly uses hand-crafted natural substances such as natural gemstones or natural pearls.
The small uneven or bumpy gemstones are sometimes used for hand-crafted goods because gemstones don't always come in the whole pieces like stones.
Some parts of gemstones could seem to be dented slightly or broken away but it is the unique state of gemstones before hand craft, not the defective part of them.
